The 80 V / 250 Ah Li-ion battery supplies the electric motors with energy while also improving your company's carbon footprint. The forklift's battery technology offers many advantages. A lithium-ion battery delivers more power than the commonly used lead-acid batteries. Its energy density is many times higher, resulting in longer operating time. Charging performance is also significantly better. This means the powerful Li-ion battery takes only 1 - 2 h to charge. Another advantage is its low maintenance requirements. While lead-acid batteries require regular filling with distilled water, this is not necessary for lithium-ion batteries. With this battery technology, you therefore save both time and the expense of a complex additional Aquamatik system, which would also be prone to faults.

Sustainable and durable

The robust counterbalance forklift, also known as a counterbalanced forklift, gets its counterweight from the 181 kg-heavy battery block. Both the motor and the battery are installed beneath the driver's seat to save space, creating the low centre of gravity required for excellent stability when lifting heavy loads. Goods weighing up to 3.500 kg can therefore be moved effortlessly from A to B at a maximum speed of 18 km/h. The electric forklift can be used with a load on gradients of up to 18 %.

The electronic drive is not only very quiet but also energy-efficient. The forklift is charged using the supplied external 380 V, 200 A charger. A full charge of the electric forklift takes approximately 1 - 2 h. The current battery charge level can be conveniently read directly on the display.

Charging requires a high-voltage socket. For fire safety reasons, it is important to store the charger on a non-combustible surface at all times (e.g. steel decking or concrete).

Thanks to the energy-saving LED headlights and signal lights, work is also possible in darker areas of the hall.

Emission-free, compact and quiet

With its electric drive and compact dimensions (1.160 mm x 3.868 mm x 2.120 - 6.022 mm), the forklift is ideally suited to indoor use because it is emission-free and produces very little noise. Nevertheless, it is also at home outdoors, safely transporting goods to their destination.

It makes everyday work easier when loading and unloading trucks and containers and transporting goods.

The compact 3-stage telescopic mast stores goods at any height up to a lifting height of 40 - 4.800 mm. It extends in 3 steps, with mast heights between 2.120 - 6.022 mm. The vehicle's small dimensions with the telescopic mast retracted also make it perfect for unloading inside a 40-foot High Cube sea freight container.

Thanks to rear-wheel steering, the GSE35/5 impresses with a small turning radius of 2.400 mm, making work easier in confined spaces, such as between rows of racking. The travel path requires a minimum width of 4.284 mm. The standard integrated power steering enables the forklift to be manoeuvred with little effort.

High performance thanks to lithium-ion technology

Compared with conventional electric stacker trucks with lead-acid batteries, the lithium-ion battery of the GSE35/5 offers many advantages. Its charging time is many times shorter, and charging efficiency is also significantly better. In addition, using a lithium-ion battery considerably increases the number of possible charging cycles before the battery block is taken out of service, and therefore substantially extends its service life. The lithium-ion battery of the electric forklift also boasts a particularly high energy density. Its operating time is therefore especially long.

Another major advantage is that Li-ion batteries are maintenance-free. The time-consuming filling with distilled water is no longer necessary, eliminating either the considerable time required or the need for an additional Aquamatik system.

Comfortable operation & good all-round visibility

Entry into the driver's cab is ergonomically designed, and the construction also prioritises maximum safety with a non-slip step and grab handle.

The forks are raised, lowered and tilted conveniently via the levers beside the steering column. The fork width is adjusted manually on the fork mast. This makes the electric forklift an all-rounder that can be used for much more than just Euro pallets. The hydraulic side-shift allows you to move the fork carriage sideways easily and conveniently from the driver's cab to engage pallets.

The steering wheel is equipped with a spinner knob for easy operation in the tightest spaces. The cab can be ideally adjusted to suit the respective driver: the steering unit is height-adjustable, and the driver's seat can be moved forwards and backwards. The driver's seat also features adjustable side and backrests and adjustable suspension for maximum seating comfort.

A legally required safety belt ensures safety while driving.

Another safety plus is the all-round view provided by the curved rear-view mirror and the rear grab handle with horn function. The latter contributes to a stable seating position when reversing and provides greater driving comfort and safety. The curved shape of the overhead guard and the correctly angled grille bars improve upward visibility of the load. The display next to the steering column shows the battery level, speed and hour meter. The electric forklift can be parked safely using the ratchet handbrake.

The forklift's weight is distributed evenly across the 4 pneumatic rubber tyres. The front tyres (28x9-15) are larger than the rear tyres (6.50-10), which are controlled by the rear-wheel steering.

Please follow the battery-use instructions in the operating manual without fail. It is important never to allow the battery to reach a deeply discharged state. The battery should therefore be charged regularly, even when the equipment is not being used.
