Tyre-rack accessories: uprights, beams and decking

Tyre-rack accessories in the form of uprights, beams and decking are essential. Our uprights are available in a choice of heights and depths, with heights from 200 to 400 centimetres and depths from 30 to 60 centimetres. Simply base the dimensions on the height of your building to make full use of the available space. Regardless of the uprights' height and width, the tyre rack provides a bay load of 2,000 kilograms with these accessories. Every rack bay is supplied with feet and bracing. Four galvanised bolt anchors for floor anchoring, two base plates, screws, nuts and all other required assembly materials are also included.

For the beams, choose an individual beam with a width of either 220 or 110 centimetres. Both widths support a maximum load of 500 kilograms per level. The beams are, of course, also supplied with the safety pins needed for assembly.

There are numerous options when choosing the right decking for your tyre rack. The first question is which material is suitable. Shelf decking made from steel, wood or grating is available. Wood is suitable when the tyre rack is installed in a dry room and relatively low tyre loads are expected. Steel decking and grating are also suitable for corrosive environments and buildings with a high fire load. Whatever material you choose, the special design allows every type of decking to secure itself in place. In addition to tyre racks, the decking can be combined with other storage racks, heavy-duty racks, tool cabinets and lockers. This allows even an existing rack to be extended flexibly with tyre-rack accessories.

Tyre-rack accessories – other useful components

Other useful tyre-rack accessories include side panels, perforated panels and holders for tools and machines. These accessories allow every tyre rack to be adapted to individual requirements. Small components, tools and other equipment needed for daily work can be kept neatly organised and sorted without having to compromise on space elsewhere. To make fitting tyre-rack accessories as easy as possible, the side panels use a plug-in holder system: simply hook the perforated panel into the rack uprights.
