Pallet rack accessories to increase the safety of your storage racks

We carry a wide range of safety-related accessories to ensure the safety of your Heavy duty racks, storage racks, Cantilever racks and Pallet racks as well as to ensure the legal requirements for operating a racking system.

The legislator has specific requirements for the operation of a pallet racking system.

All pallet racks must be anchored Bolt anchors anchored to the base plates of the uprights in the floor.

Pallet racking collision protection

An important part of any pallet racking system is the collision protection / impact protection. We carry a L-shaped collision protection for the protection of the outer pallet rack frames and one U-shaped collision protection for the protection of the inner pallet rack frames. We also have a narrow U-impact protection. The impact protection is prescribed for pallet racks by the BGR. Crash protection for pallet racks protects your heavy-duty racks from being hit by electric lifting devices such as forklifts, ants or similar stacker cranes.

The Crash protection for pallet racks is suitable for protecting the flanks of the rack uprights from being approached by a pallet truck, forklift or other lifting equipment. Especially the cross and diagonal braces (trusses) between the rack profiles are extremely susceptible to damage. Any damage can result in enormous costs and, in extreme cases, even cause the rack to collapse - personal injury not excluded.

The Crash barriers planks have the same benefit as the impact protection brackets. The advantage of the planks is the variability of lengths from 50cm to 360cm. Thus, not only pallet racks but also other heavy-duty racks, machines, industrial plants, footpaths, etc. can be protected.

The DGUV regulation states:

"At the corner areas of racks that are loaded or unloaded with non-guided conveyors, an impact guard must be fitted that is anchored to the floor and must not be connected to the rack supports. (Note: EN 15 512 refers to this as upright protection)."

DIN EN 15 512 requires a height of 400 millimeters, so that in future the collision protection will have a height of 400 millimeters.

Pallet rack push-through protection & mesh rear wall

Our sturdy push-through guards for pallet racks prevent pallets from being pushed through unintentionally and are supplied including the screw-on plates and the screw fittings. The push-through protection is supplied in pure orange (RAL 2004). Due to the stable construction of our push-through protection, you visibly increase the safety of your pallet racks. We carry our push-through protection for cross beams 180cm, 270cm and 360cm. Thus, you can order the push-through protection for all bay lengths offered by us.

The Lattice back panel for pallet racks, with a height of 100cm and a width of 270cm, provides fall protection for the stored goods, as well as for people in case of passages. The mesh back panel is supplied in pure orange (RAL 2004) and can be combined with our push-through guards to safely operate your pallet racking system.

Pallet rack depth bar / depth support

We carry depth supports for pallet racks in depths of 80cm & 110cm. Depth supports are hung crosswise between the crossbars and can be used for multiple purposes. Depth bars can be inserted under chipboard shelves to increase the load capacity of the shelves. Per depth bar the load capacity increases by 600kg, so you can increase our chipboard shelf supports to a shelf load of 3000kg with the help of our depth supports. You can also use the depth supports to store general cargo or other goods that are not stored on Euro pallets in your pallet racks. Our depth bars are painted in pure orange (RAL 2004) and thus match our cross beams perfectly in color.

Pallet rack shelves & gratings



As shelf supports for our pallet racks we have shelves made of chipboard as well as grids in our assortment, both of which can be used for general cargo such as cardboard goods.
The wooden shelves are placed on our cross beams and secured with 4 Z-brackets each against accidental slipping. The Z-brackets are already included in the price. Our shelves are 38mm thick and can therefore be loaded with 1500kg per shelf without depth supports. If you want to increase the load capacity of the shelves, you can increase the load capacity up to 3000kg (shelf load) by using depth bars.
