Hot dip galvanizing
Hot dip galvanizing is one way of protecting metal from rust. When immersed in liquid zinc at a temperature of around 450 degrees Celsius, a resistant alloy of iron and zinc is formed and above it a very adhesive pure zinc layer. In hot-dip galvanizing, a distinction is made between (discontinuous) batch galvanizing and (continuous) strip galvanizing. Both are standardized procedures according to DIN. Further information about hot-dip galvanizing can be found at the Galvanizers association.
In addition to the conventional version, TOPREGAL also offers the hot-dip galvanized version of Pallet rack and the Cantilever racking in the single and the double-sided version.
