Workbenches and accessories: uprights, beams and worktops

Workbenches combined with accessories such as uprights, beams and worktops are exceptionally useful in warehouses and workshops because the equipment can be adapted precisely to local requirements. A special plug-in design also allows the workbenches and accessories to be assembled within minutes.

Existing heavy-duty workbenches can, for example, be upgraded with multifunctional uprights that are both height-adjustable and fitted with castors. These accessories transform a stationary workbench into a mobile model quickly and easily. Transport handles on the uprights are another useful addition for certain applications. All uprights are naturally available in different heights and depths, regardless of their particular design.

The beams for our workbenches are likewise available in different lengths. Some versions are compatible not only with various workbenches but also with tyre racks and kanban racks . They can be used as push-through protection for the relevant rack or to create a garment rack for employees.

The intended application is the decisive factor when choosing a worktop. If the workbench will be used primarily with tools, we recommend a beech multiplex top sealed with linseed-oil varnish. This exceptionally robust top is one of the most frequently purchased components for our workbenches. A more economical alternative is a wooden top made from 25-millimetre glued chipboard. If liquids will also be handled at the workbench, we recommend grating because it is easy to wipe and clean.

Workbench with a perforated panel

If you need a workbench with a perforated panel, TOPREGAL also offers suitable solutions. The panel provides an excellent mounting surface for tool and machine holders, keeping tools, work equipment and small parts neatly organised and within easy reach without occupying storage space elsewhere. Like the beams, the perforated panel can also act as push-through protection. Its holes are spaced approximately 2.8 centimetres apart, making the panel compatible with common applications.
