High-quality shelving units
Our shelving units, archive racks and other products undergo annual external quality inspections. This allows us to maintain consistently high quality across our industrial racks and related products. The inspections test load capacity, rigidity and stability. The published load capacities for our shelving units are determined on the basis of DIN EN 15512. The load signs included in the scope of delivery specify the maximum shelf and bay loads.

Technical information about shelving units and archive racks
Centre-to-centre distance for shelving units
The centre-to-centre distance indicates the width of a rack bay and the distance between two uprights. Our shelving units have a centre-to-centre distance of 100 cm.
Installing the base plate
- Straightforward installation on the upright profile.
- Attach the base plate to the upright profile using an M6 screw and the corresponding nut.
- Our in-house installation team will be happy to assemble the rack professionally for you.

The appropriate decking
1. Wooden decking for shelving units
The wooden decking is 100 cm wide and 16 mm thick. It absorbs noise and can also be used on both sides.
2. Steel decking for shelving units
The steel decking is 100 cm wide and has a robust construction. Its wipe-clean surface also makes maintenance straightforward.
Buy flexible, economical and modular shelving units
Buying a TOPREGAL shelving unit gives your warehouse a high-quality, economical rack that is easy to assemble and exceptionally flexible thanks to its modular construction. Four different heights between 1.8 and 3 m, a freely selectable number of levels and almost unlimited installation width give the modular FB200 shelving unit the adaptability required for nearly every warehouse. When buying the rack, choose either steel decking or wooden decking for the levels, with each material offering its own advantages.
The straightforward plug-in system makes shelving units easy to assemble. Each upright consists of two galvanised profiles, which are connected to another upright by hooking beams into the corresponding slots to provide the necessary stability. Whether steel or wooden decking is selected, inserting a level adds further rigidity to the structure. Base plates are bolted securely to the end of every upright profile. The FB200 shelving unit therefore provides a maximum shelf load of 200 kg and a point load of 500 kg per upright. Depths from 30 to 50 cm allow the optimum storage area to be configured.
Buy the FB500 as a stand-alone shelving solution
Shelving units must meet different requirements and vary in their beam length, height, decking and width. Load is a particularly important factor for storage racks, and a distinction must be made between bay load, shelf load and point load. Bay load describes the weight permitted between two rack uprights. Point load is the weight supported by one upright profile and therefore concentrated at that point on the floor. Shelf load describes the weight permitted on one level.
The modular TOPREGAL GmbH rack system provides a shelf load of 200 kg, which is fully sufficient for most applications. It may not be suitable for particularly heavy goods because continuous overloading can cause permanent deformation or structural failure. The stand-alone FB500 rack meets this challenge. With a shelf load of 500 kg, it can also store heavy items. Level depths from 45 to 60 cm provide sufficient space for deeper goods. The FB500 shelving unit therefore complements both our product range and your warehouse effectively.
Service for archive shelving, shelving units and more
Flexible racking solutions require responsive service and an excellent support team. Archive racks, shelving units and other storage-technology products must comply with numerous, sometimes complex legal requirements. All our racks are tested in accordance with DGUV 108-007. Every rack is supplied with a compatible load sign that must be attached in a visible position. These are German requirements; the applicable local requirements must be checked.
Our racking specialists will be happy to help you decide which shelving unit to buy for your application. We also offer an installation service that ensures shelving units, archive racks and wide-span racks are assembled professionally. Our team can also carry out regular rack inspections on site when required. The supplied load sign shows conveniently when the next inspection is due.
