Pallet Racks Top seller
The steel thickness of the cross beams for pallet racks is 1.5 mm.
The individual shelf upright profiles are assembled with the correct number of cross and diagonal braces, foot plates and the appropriate assembly material.
You can find a detailed description of a shelf upright assembly in our assembly instructions.
Here you will find our overview of the individual parts.
The steel thickness of our pallet racks PR4500 and PR9000 is:
Steel S-355 JR (CRD - Coldrolled steel) 80 mm W x 70 mm D x 1.5 mm material thickness.
The steel thickness of our pallet rack PR15000 is:
Steel S-355 JR (CRD - coldrolled steel), 100 mm W x 70 mm D x 2 mm material thickness.
We offer you the common heights from 200 cm to 750 cm. For individual heights, the shelf supports are cut to size on request or manufactured individually according to your requirements.
Our racks must not be fixed to the wall. According to the standards DGUV 108-007, DIN EN 15512 and DIN EN 15635, floor anchoring of pallet racks is mandatory. For storage racks, floor anchoring is required if the depth/height ratio is greater than 5:1. If the ratio is less than this, no fastening is required. Please note: Our spacers are exclusively intended for parallel positioning of our racks.
Our 3 pallet rack models PR4500, PR9000 & PR15000 differ mainly in the load capacity for light, medium & heavy loads. Here the material thickness and dimensions of e.g. the upright profile, cross beams and foot plates differ. The construction of the three models is identical and our accessories are compatible with each other.
The model designation refers to the maximum field load of the individual systems:
- Pallet rack PR4500 - Bay load (max.): 4500 kg / Shelf load (max.): 1500 kg
- Pallet rack PR9000 - Bay load (max.): 9000 kg / Shelf load (max.): 3000 kg
- Pallet rack PR15000 - Bay load (max.): 15000 kg / Shelf load (max.): 4500 kg
This corresponds to a maximum load per pallet of 500 / 1000 / 1500 kg.
The individual levels can be hung or attached individually as desired in a grid spacing of 5 cm.
The bay load (C) is the total load-bearing capacity of a shelf bay / the load between two shelf uprights. Your own weight does not count here.
The maximum weight that rests on the individual shelf / rack is called the shelf load (B). The sum of the shelf loads must not exceed the bay load.
Point load (A) are the forces acting on the floor in a point-like manner, also known as individual load.

Buy pallet racking – outstanding quality at outstanding prices
When buying pallet racking, we recommend configuring it quickly, easily and to your individual requirements. Use our pallet-racking configurator to create your own TOPREGAL pallet rack in the highest industrial quality.
In addition to the three basic versions, which differ according to the maximum load per pallet (type PR4500 for 500 kg, type PR9000 for 1,000 kg and type PR15000 for 1,500 kg per pallet), you can freely select the height (between 2 and 7.5 m), depth (80 or 110 cm) and material of the optional decking for your chosen rack (wood, steel, grating or wire mesh). The PR9000 version is also available hot-dip galvanised for outdoor use.
Configure pallet racking with the TOPREGAL configurator
Every indoor pallet rack consists of uprights and beams in pure orange RAL 2004. The pallet-rack uprights, in signal blue RAL 5005, consist of front and rear upright profiles that are bolted together using cross and diagonal braces, plus two galvanised base plates secured to the floor with bolt anchors. For outdoor pallet racking, we use hot-dip galvanised beams and uprights. Thanks to their straightforward plug-in design, the beams can be hooked quickly and easily into the pallet-rack uprights, secured with locking pins and individually adjusted in height in 50 millimetre increments. Depending on the version, you can buy pallet racking from us with loads of up to 4,500 kilograms per beam level and a maximum bay load of 15,000 kg. Our standard range includes pallet-rack beams in lengths of 180, 270 and 360 centimetres for two, three or four Euro pallets. Other bay lengths are available on request. We offer heights from 200 to 750 centimetres. While the standard depth of 110 centimetres is ideal for storing Euro pallets lengthways, we also offer pallet racking with a depth of 80 centimetres for storing disposable pallets or other goods. The bay load, meaning the load capacity between two uprights, varies by rack type:
- 9000 kg for PR4500
- 9000 kg for PR9000
- 15000 kg for PR15000
You can also choose from a variety of pallet-rack decking materials. Whether you require grating, wire mesh, steel or chipboard decking, you will find the right option here. Individual decking components can also be purchased from our pallet-racking components range to customise your rack. Thanks to the modular design, the pallet rack can be extended with individual components at any time and adapted to your requirements.

Uprights:
The uprights for TOPREGAL pallet racking are available in many different versions. You can choose between different heights, depths and finishes. Each pallet-rack upright consists of a front and rear upright profile. These are bolted together with cross and diagonal braces and securely anchored to the floor with two base plates and bolt anchors to ensure the stability of the pallet rack. In addition to the powder-coated version, the PR9000 rack is also available hot-dip galvanised.
Rack heights:
For heavy-duty racking, you can select any height between two and 7.5 metres in 50 centimetre increments.

Rack depth:
There are two options for the depth of your pallet rack. The first is a rack depth of 80 centimetres, which is ideal for storing disposable pallets or other goods. The second is our standard depth of 110 centimetres, which is ideal for storing Euro pallets lengthways. Our expert team will also be happy to answer any questions. Thanks to the flexible rack design, you can extend your pallet rack at any time and adapt it to your requirements. Add further levels vertically or further bays lengthways to optimise your pallet racking.
Back-to-back rack rows:
To save space when installing your pallet-racking system, we recommend positioning two racks parallel and back to back. In this case, it is advisable to connect the pallet racks using spacers so that they can be aligned accurately and given additional stability. To prevent the rear pallet from being pushed out during loading, we recommend fitting push-through protection on one side of the back-to-back rack row.
Beams:
The powder-coated beams in pure orange RAL 2004 are hooked into the uprights using a straightforward plug-in system and secured against accidental lifting with locking pins. Their height can be adjusted individually in 50 millimetre increments.
Bay lengths:
The bay length describes the width of a rack bay and the distance between two pallet-rack uprights. Our beams are available in lengths of 180, 270 and 360 centimetres. The different centre-to-centre distances can be freely combined. Use the configurator to configure your pallet rack with the required bay lengths.

Rack decking – the right option for every requirement
Our range includes four different types of rack decking: wire mesh, wood, steel and grating. The characteristics of each version are described below. Please note that, regardless of the decking, the full load capacity of the beam pair applies whenever the load rests on the beams.
1. Wire-mesh decking
Wire-mesh decking is an ideal alternative to wooden decking and offers many advantages: it has a higher load capacity and is 38 millimetres lower than wooden decking in a direct comparison. The mesh size is five by ten centimetres, providing an open area of 70 percent and therefore a clear view of the stored goods. The maximum load capacity of one wire-mesh module is 1,000 kilograms when the load is evenly distributed.
2. Wooden decking
The wooden decking consists of 38 millimetre-high chipboard and four Z-shaped brackets. The wooden decking is placed on the beam and secured and stabilised using centring brackets. Its load capacity without depth supports is 1,500 kg.
3. Grating decking
Hot-dip galvanised grating is ideal for placing directly on the beam pairs. The 88 centimetre-wide modules have a mesh size of 9.9 by 9.9 centimetres and each support a maximum load of 800 kilograms. Grating decking is ideal for storing hazardous materials and liquids or for outdoor storage. Its design with a folded fixing bracket makes the grating decking self-locking.
4. Steel decking
The steel-decking modules are each 88.5 centimetres wide and can support loads of up to 1,000 kilograms. Steel decking is ideal for storing liquids such as paints or oils because it can be cleaned quickly. Its self-locating design makes installation quick and straightforward.

Buy pallet racking and an extensive range of accessories

1. Push-through protection
Push-through protection prevents pallets from being moved unintentionally or falling out of the rear of the rack. Bolt-on plates and screws for securing it to the racking system are included in the price and can be supplied for all common pallet-racking systems. Push-through protection is a safety-related pallet-racking accessory. It is fitted to the sides of racks not intended for loading and unloading. It is legally required where members of the public pass behind the rack and for racks installed in parallel.
2. Depth support
Our depth supports for pallet racking have a maximum load capacity of 600 kilograms per support. Using depth supports increases the load capacity of your rack decking. They are simply placed on the beams and locate themselves securely by design.
3. Collision protection
Collision protection helps prevent potential damage to rack uprights. Corner areas exposed to forklift traffic must be fitted with collision protection in accordance with DIN EN 15365 and German DGUV 208-061. Our collision protection is tested and certified in accordance with 208-061. Each collision guard is supplied with four bolt anchors for floor anchoring.
4. Collision-protection barrier
TOPREGAL collision-protection barriers are available in various versions. They are ideal for single and back-to-back rack rows because they protect the outer uprights and braces of your racking system against damage caused by accidental impacts. The yellow paint finish with black warning stripes also increases visibility whenever your work area is entered, in accordance with BGV A8.
5. Drum supports
The TOPREGAL drum support is placed between the beams without additional fixings and is suitable for drums with a capacity of up to 200 litres. Welded push-through stops prevent the drums from slipping through and allow movement only from side to side.
6. Mesh back panel
Mesh back panels prevent stored goods from falling and are particularly recommended for back-to-back rack rows.
7. Spacer
Spacers are used to position rows of racks parallel to one another and to secure them to a wall.
8. Magnetic labelling strips
Our magnetic strips are five or ten centimetres wide and can be used to label storage locations and bays. They adhere to magnetic surfaces such as beams, cantilever arms, metal and similar materials, making them ideal for labelling storage locations on our pallet racking.
9. Load spreader
Load spreaders distribute the weight over a larger area than the rack feet. This is particularly useful for sensitive floors or warehouse floors with restricted load capacities.
10. Levelling plates (shims)
Levelling plates, also known as shims, compensate for uneven floors when a rack is installed. Positioned beneath the base plates, they help ensure the safe operation of the racking system.
Definitions

a) Point load
A force acting at a single point on the floor, also known as an individual load.
b) Shelf load
The maximum load capacity of a single rack level when the load is evenly distributed across each beam level. The maximum shelf load depends, among other things, on the beam length.
c) Bay load
The maximum total load of the rack when the load is evenly distributed between two uprights. The sum of the individual shelf loads must not exceed the permissible bay load.

TOPREGAL quality you can rely on
We have the quality of our products checked annually in quality inspections. The racks are tested for load capacity, rigidity and stability. The published load capacities for our racks are based on DIN EN 15512. The load notices included in the scope of delivery state the maximum shelf and bay loads.
Pallet racking – upright and beam assembly and floor anchoring
Floor anchoring with base plate
The rack is anchored to the floor using bolt anchors. First, the appropriate holes are drilled with a suitable 12 millimetre-diameter drill bit. The bolt anchor is driven in with the base-plate bracket and secured with the nut. This anchors the rack securely and adequately. Ensure that the bolt anchors are fitted professionally. Our in-house team will be happy to provide correct rack assembly for you.

Installing the beams
To install the beams, you need the following components: a preassembled rack upright, beams and locking pins. The beams can be hooked easily into the upright profile at the required height. The locking pin protects each beam against accidental lifting. The individual beam levels can be positioned at 5 centimetre increments.
The TOPREGAL pallet-rack configurator
We sell only new pallet racks tested in accordance with DIN EN 15512 and meeting all legal requirements. A pallet rack consists of uprights with bracing and base plates, plus beams that support the stored goods. The powder-coated beams in pure orange RAL 2004 hook easily into the uprights and are secured with locking pins. Their height can be adjusted individually in an 80 mm grid. The capacity per Euro pallet is 1,000 kg, corresponding to a shelf load of 3,000 kg per level.
The powder-coated uprights in signal blue RAL 5005 consist of front and rear profiles connected by bolted horizontal and diagonal braces. Two galvanised base plates are secured to the floor using bolt anchors. The standard upright depth is 110 cm for lengthwise storage of Euro pallets. We also offer an 80 cm depth for storing one-way pallets and other goods. The bay load, meaning the capacity between two uprights, is 9,000 kg. Our standard range includes heights from 200 to 550 cm. On request, pallet racks up to 7.5 metres high are available and can be supplied with higher bay loads if required.
Complete configurations with grating or chipboard decking can also be selected in the pallet-rack configurator. Individual grating panels and wooden or steel decking are available in the component range for customising an existing rack. The legally required load signs are always included in the price and scope of delivery. All assembly materials required for correct installation are likewise included, such as bolt anchors for floor fixing, locking pins for the beams, screws, nuts and washers.
All complete pallet-rack configurations are held in stock and can generally be delivered within one to three working days after receipt of the order. Our central warehouse ensures rapid dispatch of the goods.
