Shelf load

Shelf load (B) means the maximum weight with which the individual shelf or the individual shelf may be loaded. The prerequisite is that the load is evenly distributed.

The sum of the shelf loads (B) of a shelf must not be greater than the permissible bay load (C). It is quite possible that the added field loads can be mathematically greater than the permitted field load. Point loads (A) are the forces acting on the floor at one point, also known as concentrated loads.
