In pallet racks, depth bars support the stored pallets on the one hand. On the other hand, they serve as supports for shelves, such as chipboard (38 mm) or steel plates (25 mm). The depth stays are suspended between the shelf uprights. The shelves are then placed on top of it. Depth members are also referred to as depth supports.
