The right conference table for your business
A conference table brings the team together to spread out printed concepts, write and highlight notes, type for several hours and discuss ideas over a strong cup of coffee until the result is right. A meeting-room table must therefore withstand intensive use and have a durable, easy-care surface that can be wiped clean when a pen or marker moves beyond the paper, a drink is spilled or a laptop mouse has been used on it for hours.
Conference table with chairs and cable management
An excellent choice for a modern meeting room is a conference table with chairs and integrated cable management. Every team member should be able to sit on a comfortable, high-quality conference chair when gathering around the table. A cable channel keeps presentation cables concealed quickly and easily. Since projectors and laptops are now used in almost every meeting, a suitable conference table should include at least one cable outlet and cable channel.
Conference-table set with chairs
The new conference table's size and shape require careful consideration. A table that is too small may soon need replacing or restrict work considerably, while an oversized table can overwhelm a small room visually and reduce the space participants need to move. Capacity should therefore be generous but realistic. A suitable conference table for a small or medium-sized business seats approximately eight people: two or three interview participants can sit comfortably without feeling lost, while strategy meetings with many contributors are also possible around a conference table for 8 to 10 people. A large meeting room, however, should contain a correspondingly large table so that the proportions of the room and furniture remain balanced. A small conference table can quickly appear lost in a spacious room. In this situation, a conference table for 12 to 14 people is the right choice for the team.
The larger the table, the more important adequate stability becomes. Meeting tables with continuous sled frames have proven particularly stable compared with conventional individual legs. Even intensive note-taking or animated presentations by the person seated next to you will not cause disruption.
The conference table alone does not complete the impression: a coordinated set of chairs finishes the meeting room. Order your conference table as a set with the appropriate number of chairs in a single step.
