Easy cleaning of large areas

With the AKM80-1, residue-free cleaning of indoor and outdoor areas is no problem. The large ride on vacuum cleaner can be filled with 22 l of fresh water, which moistens the floor with a fine spray. This technology prevents bothersome dust from being stirred up, and all the dirt is conveyed into the 92 l-large dust container in the shortest possible time. The three brushes are responsible for this; thanks to their clever arrangement, they achieve a total cleaning width of 1.200 mm. The side brushes, with a diameter of 440 mm, transport all the dirt underneath the machine, where the -long main brush ensures that the swept material is conveyed into the dust container. This is only possible thanks to the high rotational speed of up to 850 rpm. The compact cleaning machine (1.010 mm x 1.600 mm x 1.340 mm) and its low weight of 330 kg, combined with its high drive output of 1.200 W, enable a maximum speed of 6 km/h. The ride on sweeper AKM80-1 therefore achieves an effective cleaning performance of 7.200 m²/h. This makes cleaning large areas highly efficient. Thanks to the bright front lighting, the cleaning machine can also sweep in the dark.

Easy operation thanks to a simple design

The sweeper's simple design allows any employee to operate the machine after a brief safety briefing. The ignition lock can be used to switch the ride on sweeper on and off and to protect it against unauthorised use. When the cleaning machine is switched on, you can conveniently read the charge level on the control panel. As with a car, the speed is controlled using the accelerator pedal. A brake pedal is also located next to it, allowing the machine to be stopped quickly. Thanks to its particularly small turning circle of 800 mm, the ride on sweeper AKM80-1 can also be manoeuvred easily in narrow aisles. The fine spray and cleaning brushes can be switched on separately. The ride on sweeper is equipped with large solid-rubber wheels that can easily overcome low obstacles. The squeegee strip fitted to the underside of the machine can be raised for this purpose. In addition, the AKM80-1 can negotiate inclines of up to 25 %. For longer storage, we recommend draining the water from the 22 l-large fresh-water tank, as the machine may be damaged at temperatures below 0°C. With a fully charged battery set, the ride on sweeper can be used continuously for up to 3 h. Once the 92 l-large dust container is full, it can be easily removed and emptied using a lever system at the rear of the machine.
