Does the rack have to be fixed in the floor / wall?

Anchoring in the floor is not mandatory, except in the case of a height/depth ratio greater than 5:1 (the height at which the topmost suspension of the floor is made), DGUV regulation 108 -007 applies. The shelf must be secured against tipping.

With the aid of spacers, wall mounting is possible. You need 2 spacers per shelf up to a height of two metres. We recommend that you use 3 spacers from a height of three metres.
