Procurement Logistics

Procurement logistics is the first of four sub-areas of logistics. It includes all logistical tasks that are connected with the procurement of goods and their routes from the supplier to the buyer's goods receipt.

In business administration, the term procurement logistics describes the process of purchasing goods up to the transport of materials to the receiving warehouse or to production. Procurement logistics thus combines the sales logistics of suppliers and the production logistics of a company.
