The 80 V / 202 Ah Li-ion battery serves as an energy source for the electric motors and at the same time helps to improve your company's carbon footprint. The battery technology of the forklift truck offers numerous significant advantages. In particular, a lithium-ion battery outperforms the widely used lead-acid batteries in terms of performance and battery capacity. With a significantly higher energy density, it enables a longer operating time. Charging the powerful Li-ion battery takes just 2 - 2,5 h. An additional advantage is the low maintenance frequency. In contrast to lead-acid batteries, which require regular topping up with distilled water, this step is not necessary with lithium-ion batteries. This not only saves you time, but also eliminates the need for a complex and error-prone aquamatic system.

Efficiency and performance combined: the GSE25/5 electric forklift truck for optimised logistics solutions

The robustly designed front forklift truck, also known as a counterbalance truck, gets its name-giving counterweight from the massive battery block, which weighs 230 kg. The motor and battery are installed under the comfortable driver's seat to save space and create a low centre of gravity, which is essential for optimum stability when lifting heavy loads. This enables the smooth movement of goods up to a maximum weight of 2.500 kg with a maximum speed of 14 km/h, even on slopes up to 15 %.

The forklift truck's electric drive is not only remarkably quiet, but also energy-efficient. Recharging takes place via the external 80 V, 380 V charger supplied.

A 32 A / 380 V high-voltage socket is required for charging. The charger is connected to the forklift truck using the REMA320 adapter supplied. For fire safety reasons, it is important that the charger is always stored on a non-flammable surface (e.g. steel floor or concrete).

Thanks to the energy-saving LED headlights and signalling lights, it is also possible to work in darker hall areas.

Maximum flexibility: The emission-free electric forklift truck for indoor and outdoor use

The forklift truck, powered by electric technology and with compact dimensions of 1.260 mm x 3.250 mm x 2.180 - 5.846 mm, is optimised for indoor use. It operates emission-free and with minimal noise, making it an environmentally friendly and quiet solution for material handling. Nevertheless, it is also ideally suited for outdoor use to transport goods and merchandise safely to their destination.
Its functions facilitate the daily workflow, especially when loading and unloading lorries, containers and transporting goods in general. The forklift truck's compact 3-stage telescopic mast enables goods to be stored continuously up to a lifting height of 40 - 4.800 mm. It operates in three stages with mast heights of 2.180 - 5.846 mm, and its compact dimensions with the telescopic mast retracted make it ideal for unloading operations inside a 40-foot high cube sea freight container.

The GSE25/5 Forklift truck scores points with its rear steering and a small turning radius of 2.150 mm, which makes working in confined spaces, such as between rows of racking, much easier. A minimum width of 3,655 mm is required for the driveway. Power steering is also integrated as standard, which enables effortless manoeuvring of the forklift truck.

Advantages of lithium-ion technology for forklift trucks: low maintenance and efficient

Lithium-ion batteries offer several advantages over lead-acid batteries, particularly in terms of maintenance intensity and the aquamatic system required when used in forklift trucks. Lithium-ion batteries are low-maintenance as they do not require regular topping up with water, as is the case with lead-acid batteries. This not only reduces maintenance costs, but also the time and effort required to maintain forklift trucks.

In contrast, lead-acid batteries in forklift trucks require an aquamatic system to check the water level and top up with water if necessary to ensure optimum performance. This can lead to additional costs and maintenance, which can increase the operating costs of forklift trucks.
In addition, lithium-ion batteries have a higher energy density, which means they can store more energy than lead-acid batteries of the same size. This enables longer operating times for forklift trucks, making them a more efficient and practical energy source for many warehouse and logistics applications.

Optimised ergonomics and safety: the versatile electric forklift truck

Access to the driver's cab is ergonomically optimised and offers the highest safety standards thanks to a non-slip step and grab handle. Operation of the forks, including lifting, lowering and tilting, is user-friendly thanks to the levers located next to the steering column. The manual adjustment of the fork width on the mast enables versatile use of the electric forklift truck, which goes far beyond its use for Euro pallets.
The 450 mm Diameter steering wheel is equipped with a rotary knob for easy manoeuvrability in confined spaces. The driver's cab can be customised to suit the driver, with a height-adjustable steering unit and a forward and backward-adjustable driver's seat. The side rests and backrest can be ergonomically adjusted.

Safety during the journey is guaranteed by the legally prescribed seat belt. Additional safety features are the all-round view through the curved rear-view mirror and the rear handle with horn function, which supports a stable position when reversing and thus increases driving comfort and safety. The curved protective roof and the lattice struts with optimum angle improve the view upwards to the load. The display next to the steering column provides information on the battery status, speed and operating hours counter. The ratchet handbrake enables the electric forklift truck to be parked safely.
The weight of the forklift truck is evenly distributed over the four pneumatic rubber wheels. The front wheels are larger than the rear wheels, which are controlled by the rear steering.
