The closed fork extension with a load capacity of 3.000 kg per pair has a fork length of 1.830 mm. This makes the SolidHub Fork extension is an optimal helper when goods have to be transported or lifted that are longer than the forks of the existing forklift truck. The fork extensions are suitable for a fork cross-section of up to 135 x 55 mm and are used to extend the useful fork area of your forklift truck. Quick, convenient and safe, they are fitted in no time at all and locked behind the back of the fork with push-in bolts.

Important:
The fork extensions are only suitable for forklift trucks and not for high lift trucks (e.g. HE1200/3, HWE15).
Please note that a fork extension shifts the load centre of your forklift truck. For more detailed information, please refer to the heavy load diagram and the load centre of your truck. Furthermore, the extension must rest at least 60% on the forks of the truck.
Before purchasing, please check whether the fork extension is compatible with your forklift truck (fork cross-section up to max. 135 x 55 mm, length from min. 1098 mm).

Frequently asked questions
Questions about the product
How many months and what defects does the warranty cover?

For all items in the shop - which are not consumables - we grant a warranty of 1 year. This warranty is valid from the date of invoice and covers material, processing or construction defects. Damage caused by natural wear and tear, improper handling or unauthorized modification is not covered by the warranty. On articles with batteries and / or accumulators we grant a voluntary functional guarantee of 6 months from the date of purchase on the batteries / accumulators .

Exceptions are our heavy duty shelves incl. single parts. Here we grant a 5 year warranty.

For which forklifts are the fork extensions suitable?

The 60 % rule applies to fork extensions. This means that at least 60% of the fork extension must rest on the actual forks of the forklift truck. Before purchasing, check whether the forks of your forklift truck have the corresponding dimensions.

What is the difference between open and closed fork extensions?

The term "open" or "closed" describes the nature of the underside of a fork extension. In the case of open fork extensions, there is no metal under the fork and therefore they do not enclose the forks of the forklift. This can cause the extensions to lever upward if care is not taken. Closed fork extensions are therefore safer by reducing the potential for accidents.

How are the fork extensions secured?

The fork extensions are secured with a pin, which is fixed behind the forks by a split pin. This prevents the forks from slipping down.
